Wesco Aircraft Holdings was awarded a contract with Airbus to supply aerospace fasteners and hardware components to numerous Airbus facilities.
“The award of this contract demonstrates the strong relationship between Wesco Aircraft and Airbus — a relationship built over the past decade on excellent service and consistently strong performance,” said Hal Weinstein, Wesco Aircraft’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Wesco’s inventory has more than 500,000 different SKUs, including hardware, bearings, tools, electronic components and machined parts. Wesco Aircraft employs 1,200 people across 41 locations in 12 countries.
Wesco Aircraft revenue, including fasteners, for the second fiscal quarter rose 24% to $225.9 million. The increase in the North America segment external sales was 21.8%, mainly driven by growth across the company’s customer base and the Interfast acquisition. ©2013 GlobalFastenerNews.com
