Tower Fasteners is marking its 40th anniversary. Tower was founded in Mineola, NY by Thomas Shannon. As Tower grew it moved to several Long Island locations and opened its first branch in Fort Lauderdale in 1975.
Today Tower remains family owned distributor of fasteners and electronic hardware. Tower has stocking locations in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Mexico and is headquartered at 1690 N. Ocean Ave., Holtsville, NY 11742. CEO Bryan Shannon also announced Tower launched a new website at towerfast.com “The key change in our new website is the e-commerce capabilities,” Shannon commented.
