When Fastenal Co. stock dropped 7.7% in mid March, the company�s top three officers bought 12,000 shares at a sizeable discount, the Wall Street Journal reported. CEO Will Oberton, COO Nicholas Lundquist, and CFO Dan Florness purchased the stock for $529,398, or $44.12 per share. Within a few days, Fastenal shares closed 1.6% higher at $47.86.
