Titanium Supplier Perryman Co. Growing

Titanium aerospace products maker Perryman Co. announced a $10 million expansion of its rolling mill in Washington County, PA. The expansion is the second phase of a three-year plan to double the plant’s capacity by 2006, co-owner Frank Perryman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Phase one included additional titanium wire rod drawing and shaving lines.
Frank Perryman said the company’s growth is driven by an increase in commercial aircraft manufacture by such companies as Boeing and Airbus in 2005 and 2006. Perryman supplies starting material used to make fasteners for aircraft frames.
The facility isn’t the only expansion planned at the 16-year-old company. Perryman noted that the company workforce would increase up to 15% in 2005. 2004 FastenerNews.com
