SWD Inc., Addison, IL is proud to announce FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automotive) has granted full approval to process parts in accordance with PS-11036.
SWD will apply a coating system comprised of a zinc flake basecoat plus topcoat that provides superior corrosion protection and consistent assembly torque. The zinc-rich coating systems used at SWD Inc. are Chromium free as well as RoHS and ELV compliant.
SWD Inc. has been providing world class Dip Spin finishes since 2004. In addition to the new FCA PS-11036 coating, SWD also offers numerous automotive and industrial specifications including Honda HES-8000, GM 3359, CAT 1E1675G and Ford S-442.
The Dip Spin equipment at SWD offers the latest state of the art technology to minimize recess fill utilizing a unique recipe-driven tilt during the spin cycle allowing completely customizable recipes for every part.
These lines were also developed to provide “gentle handling” of customer supplied fasteners to ensure minimal opportunity to cause thread nicks or any other damage caused during bulk processing. This allows SWD to build a recipe specific to each part with variable parameters for rotation, tilting, reorientation and cure vibration.
Along with the Dip Spin coatings SWD Inc. offers: Black Oxide, Passivation, Phosphate, Cleaning, Pickling, Sorting, Packaging and Labeling.
