Sundram to Supply John Deere from China

Sundram Fasteners will reportedly start supplying John Deere USA in May from its facility in China. Sundram already supplies some European customers from the plant, which has delivered about $1 million of product since it opened in September 2004.
India-based Sundram has been operating its China location with a crew of about 70. Recently Sundram announced the addition of a third shift to meet demand, which is expected to exceed $3 million by the end of 2005. Web: sundram.com �2005 FastenerNews.com
