Sugati Boosts Wire Rod Capacity

Tokyo-based steel wire manufacturer Sugita Wire Ltd. has expanded production capacity for CH (cold headed) steel wires for automotive bolts and nuts by 20%, Japan Metal Daily reports.
Sugita constructed a new 37,600 sq ft heat treatment plant for wire rod with two STC furnaces, boosting monthly production capacity to 9,000 tons.
The expansion was prompted by increased demand for automotive fasteners. �2006 FastenerNews.com
