The following is a press release provided to GlobalFastenerNews.com. Contact the individual company for additional information.

Custom threaded-bore shaft collars that offer precise adjustability and positive locking for mounting and positioning devices on a shaft are being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford Instrument Shaft Collars are precision machined and offered with custom threads ranging from extra-fine to coarse, to provide full contact with threaded shafts for holding and locating sensors and components.  Customized with spanner holes on the face or O.D. or knurls and other features, these precision shaft collars provide positive locking and are manufactured to specification in one-, two-piece, and set-screw designs.

Designed for use in precision instruments in aerospace, automation, laboratory, medical, and optical applications, Stafford Instrument Shaft Collars can be machined from aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and special alloys in sizes ranging from 1/8” to 6” I.D. and O.D. and widths as required.  Straight or diamond knurls can be incorporated on the outside diameter.

Stafford Instrument Shaft Collars are priced according to configuration and quantity.  Price quotations are available upon request.
