STAFDA Attendance, Booth Numbers Up 9%

Both attendance and the number of booths at the 29th annual Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors convention were up 9% over records set at the 2004 convention.
STAFDA reported 2005 attendance at 4,838 at the convention in Baltimore.
The record 815 booths were up 9% with 20% of the exhibitors new from 2004.
STAFDA programs included a keynote speech by Colin Powell, the traditional state-of-the-industry speeches, Tech Fair, Distributor, manufacturers and rep rap sessions, a variety of educational workshops, opening party at Camden Yards, spouse programs and the trade show.
