Joe McIlhon will succeed Dick Gawlik as Midwest regional sales manager for Porteous Fastener Company.

McIlhon started in the fastener industry with his father, Dan McIlhon, and brother, Ed McIlhon, at Iowa Industrial Products 30 years ago. When the company was sold to Bossard in 1999, McIlhon became head of sales and was promoted to president in 2004. E-mail:jp.mcilhon@mchsi.com
Porteous also announced two more Midwest changes as Brian Flynn will move from the New Jersey branch to be Midwest area sales manager, and Andrew Nagy from Cleveland has been promoted to regional operations manager.
Porteous will move to a newly constructed 90,000 sq ft pre-cast building with wire-guided narrow aisles for efficiency. The new warehouse is double the size of the current Elk Grove Village one and has a 50 million pound capacity of bulk and packaged fasteners.
