Peter Femiak, vice president for sales & marketing of ADP Rivet, died April 1, 2005, at age 58 after hospitalization following a stroke which caused a car accident.
Prior to ADP Rivet, Femiak was with Emhart Fasteners / Black & Decker for more than 20 years.
Born in Germany, he graduated from the University of New Haven and completed advanced studies at Thunderbird School of International Management. He had been active in the National Fastener Distributors Association, Industrial Distributors Association and had been on the manufacturer’s liason committee of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Deborah Tolles Femiak; a son, Alex Femiak of Stowe, VT; a daughter, Katie Femiak of Woodbury, CT; his stepmother; a sister; and a brother. Messages to the family may be sent c/o ADP Rivet, 465 Ledyard St., Hartford, CT 06114.
