Jeffery T. Ferry, 43, founder and president of Telefast Industries and 1stFastener.com, died of a sudden heart attack June 6, 2002, on a business trip to Mexico.
Services will be at 10 a.m. June 11, 2002, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Westlake, OH. Arrangements are by McGorray Bros. Funeral Home of Lakewood.
Ferry was fourth generation in the fastener industry. His great grandfather, Thomas Ferry, founded Ferry Cap & Set Screw; his grandfather, Edward Ferry, founded E.W. Ferry Screw Products; and his father, William Ferry, started Ferry Brothers.
Jeff Ferry founded the nut manufacturing company, Telefast, in 1986. He was a member of the Industrial Fasteners Institute and the National Fastener Distributors Association.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; five children; his parents, Marianne of Rocky River, OH, and William of Westlake, OH; and three siblings.
