NORMA Group Acquires R.G. Ray of U.S.
R.G. Gray headquarters in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Germany-based NORMA Group, a metal and plastic engineered joining technology company, acquired Illinois-based R.G. Ray Corporation.
R.G. Ray designs and manufactures engineered clamps, standard nuts, t-bolts, t-nuts and plastic knob for engine, pump/filtration, aircraft, commercial vehicle and industrial applications.
R.G. Ray reports 450 customers.
The acquisition helps Norma strengthen its North American presence, CEO Werner Deggim said. “Besides our strong innovation pipeline we will continue to look for further opportunities to complement our existing product portfolio and global market reach.”
Norma operates in 60 countries with 24 subsidiaries and 12 manufacturing facilities in Western Europe, CEE, USA, Mexico, China, India and Russia.
Norma has 3,400 employees worldwide and projects 2010 sales of Euro 430 million (US$541.6m), Norma supplies 35,000 products for a variety of industrial applications ranging from cooling systems, air intake & induction, emission control, ancillary systems, and infrastructure to distribution services.
