NIFS Priority Booth Assignment Deadline December 31

The deadline for the 2009 National Industrial Fastener Show/West exhibitor applications for booth assignment based on the show’s “priority points system” is December 31, 2008.
Booth assignments under NIFS’ priority system depend on points calculated by the number of booths, number of years the company has exhibited and what the exhibitor is spending on advertising in the show program or other show marketing.
The 13th annual West show is scheduled November 16-18, 2009, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Noting the “current economic crisis has had a crippling effect on many fastener companies due to severe cutbacks in manufacturing, construction and other industries using our products and services,” show management cancelled the 2009 NIFS/East show in May in Ohio.
Show management reported 468 booths under contract with 341 companies thus far for NIFS/West.
Booth applications after December 31 will be assigned space on a first come-first served basis.
