The National Fastener Distributors Association meeting follows Fastener Tech this week with sessions beginning Wednesday at the Intercontinental Hotel Chicago O’Hare.
In 1979 the NFDA meeting topics as 329 people participated at Hilton Head, SC, were: Washington legislative concerns, corporate planning and 11 teams competing on finding how a company should change its distribution setup in “Olimpick Decision Making.”
Topics this year include: “Manufacturers are from Mars, Distributors are from Venus”; Preparing for the Healthcare Law; “The A Method for Hiring”; Metric Systems in the U.S.; and an economic outlook.
