New Leadership At Helm for Acument
FEATURE
Patrick Paige
Acument Global Technologies Inc. appointed Patrick Paige as President and CEO effective February 1, 2011.
Paige replaces Rick Dauch, who had served as CEO of Acument since June 2008 and will leave the company later this month to pursue other professional opportunities.
Paige’s promotion “provides continuity of direction and business priorities,” communication director Timothy Weir told FIN.
“Under the guidance of Rick Dauch, Acument emerged from the global recession financially and competitively strengthened,” Paige stated. “I will work closely with the Acument leadership team to implement the actions we have launched to make Acument an even stronger competitor, and support our ability to deliver exceptional products and services to our customers in the North and South American transportation markets.”
Long a fixture in the fastener industry, the company once known as Textron Fastening Systems has undergone changes as it seeks to strengthen its position in global markets.
