McGuire Launches Sourcing Website

Mike McGuire launched WorldwideFastenerSources.com.

McGuire started in his family’s distributorship – Capitol Sales in Columbus, OH. He co-founded the National Industrial Fastener Show in 1981 in Columbus. After selling the trade show to Emerald Expositions in 2015, he started organizing fastener suppliers worldwide.

Initially the website lists 10,000 products in 88 categories from suppliers in 81 countries. The website also includes information such as a glossary of fastener terms, standards and tariff information.

The website is free for buyers. The cost for suppliers to register and display products varies.  Suppliers can set up a company profile or list specific products.
