Consultant Michael Marks will be the keynote speaker at the fall meeting of the National Fastener Distributors Association
The meeting will be October 16-19, 2002, at the Embassy Suites Lakefront in Chicago.\
Marks co-founded Indian River Consulting Group in 1987 and last year was named a research fellow for the Distribution Research & Education Foundation of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors.
The program also includes panel presentations for distributors and suppliers and Executive Sales & Planning sessions of one-on-one meetings between suppliers and distributors.
Seven new Train the Trainer (T3) programs will be introduced at the fall meeting: Blind rivets, clinch nuts, corrosion 101, plastic nuts, self-piercing rivets, thread forming screws and thread locking & sealing materials.
