MacLean-Fogg Buys Metal Forming & Machining Operation

MacLean-Fogg Co. acquired Pennsylvania-based Saegertown Manufacturing Co., which makes specialized engineered metal components for the mining, home construction, and automotive industries. Terms were not disclosed.
“Saegertown’s expertise in metal forming, machining and other operations provides additional opportunities for growth in North America and Europe,” stated MacLean Vehicle Systems president Duncan MacLean.
MacLean-Fogg Co. manufactures and supplies engineered fasteners, transmission components and suspension devices to auto, truck and equipment producers worldwide and automatic connectors, composite insulators, distributor and transmission hardware and electrical products to utility markets. The company has 23 North American manufacturing facilities plus 11 international facilities, $800 million in annual sales and 2,000 employees.
