Mel’s Fastener Museum
The Mel B. Kirsner Trust is rebuilding Pell Mell Supply Inc., president Judy Kirsner announced.
Mel Kirsner founded the Southern California distributorship in 1964 and sold it to Bob Hannah in 1991. Hannah is now retiring.
Roy Harper, who started working in the warehouse in 1979, is the new general manager and Mel Kirsner’s son Kraig Kirsner is vice president and secretary.
Judy Kirsner told GlobalFastenerNews.com that her role is serving as the company’s “cheerleader.”
Mel Kirsner died in 2008. He had started working in the industry in 1958 and during his career he became a partner in Fresno Bolt, Nevada Bolt & Nut, Non Ferrous Mfg., Bolt & Nut Export, Action Valve & Fitting and Centennial Fastener.
He founded Mel’s Fastener Museum – which was destroyed in a Southern California fire in 2003.
