Japan Boltmaker Expands

Japanese fastener maker Aoyama Seisakusho Co. will expand its Kumamoto plant to raise the facility’s automobile bolt output by some 30 million bolts a month to 176 million. The 5,800 sq ft expansion will enlarge the plant to more than 26,000 sq ft. The upgrade is scheduled to begin in April 2005.
