ITW Acquires Materials Testing Instron

Illinois Tool Works Inc. acquired material testing manufacturer Instron Corporation. Norwood, MA-based Instron has manufacturing facilities and technical centers in 13 North American, European and Asian countries. Instron provides material and structural testing instruments, software and services.
