The Wire Association International reported attendance at the co-located Interwire 2007 and International Fastener & Precision Formed Parts Exposition was up 14% to 5,916 visitors.
The combined shows total 550 exhibiting companies from 50 countries with about 150,000 sq ft of floor space. IFE drew nearly 100 of the exhibitors at the May 6-10, 2007, events at the I-X Center in Cleveland.
Interwire and the machinery show are held in odd-numbered years.
The floor plan included pavilions for rod & wire producers, fastener machinery and suppliers, wire & cable manufacturers and supplies.
The event was WAI”s 77th annual convention, including conference sessions, a Charter Steel mill tour and 35 technical paper presentations.
