IFI Seeking Nominations for 2011 Soaring Eagle Awards
FEATURE
The Industrial Fasteners Institute is seeking nominations for its 2011 Soaring Eagle Awards.
The IFI initiated the Soaring Eagle Awards in 2001 to recognize “those persons who have ascended far beyond the expected in their contributions to the North American fastener industry and the many industries it serves.”
The three categories are the William E. Ward Leadership Award, Roy P. Trowbridge Technology Award and George S. Case Sr. Meritorious Service Award.
IFI managing director Rob Harris said nominees do not have to be IFI members, “just someone who has provided a unique, very important or long term service to the industry.”
Nomination letters should specify which award and why and be submitted by November 30, 2010. Send to: Soaring Eage Awards, Industrial Fasteners Institute, 6363 Oak Tree Blvd., Independence, OH 44131. Fax 216 241-5901 E-mail:rharris@indfast.com
The IFI is an association of North American manufactures of bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, pins, washer and custom formed parts, and suppliers.
