Honeywell reported aerospace sales, including fasteners, improved 10.7% to $9.75 billion during 2004, while segment profit soared 21.3% to $1.48 billion.
Aerospace sales during the fourth quarter of 2004 grew 6.8% to $2.52 billion, driven by 10% growth in commercial revenue and 4% growth in defense and space sales. Segment profit increased 13.9% to $426 million.
Overall 2004 revenue gained 11% to $25.6 billion “resulting from organic growth” in all segments. Honeywell announced a 10% increase in its dividend, the first increase in five years. Profit in 2004 grew 9.2% to $1.44 billion.
