Honeywell Revenue Improves
Jason Sandefur
Organic growth in the Transportation and Specialty Materials segments helped Honeywell report a 5.7% revenue increase to $6.2 billion for the fourth quarter of 2003. Specialty Materials saw strong demand from the U.S. military for small arms protective insert plates, and Q4 Aerospace revenue rose on higher sales in Defense and Space spending.
For the year, Honeywell saw revenue grow 3.7% to $23.1 billion, while free cash flow reached $1.5 billion.
“2003 was a year of significant progress,” said CEO Dave Cote. “We continued our focus on productivity and also made improvements in cycle time, quality and delivery.” Web: honeywell.com 2004 FastenerNews.com
