Hansen Named Head of Bossard North America
Jason Sandefur
Steen Hansen will take over responsibility for Bossard Group’s North American business. The position, effective March 1, also makes him a member of Bossard’s executive committee, announced CEO David Dean.
Hansen relieves Scott Mac Meekin, head of Bossard’s Asian market region, who led the American business through a reorganization completed at the end of 2007. MacMeekin will return his focus to Asia markets.
Bossard has integrated the U.S. companies it acquired in the 1990s into Bossard North America.
Hansen, 49, has been with Bossard Group since 2001. He joined the company as director of logistics in Denmark, was appointed Vice President Group logistics in 2004 and took over as CEO of the largest Bossard U.S. subsidiary in 2006. Web: bossard.com 2008 FastenerNews.com
