George Gilmore Jr. is the new COO of MacLean-Fogg Company and the CEO/president of MacLean Vehicle Systems. Gilmore was president of Chicago-based Exelon Enterprises, a subsidiary of Exelon Corp. Gilmore holds engineering, international relations and MBA degrees and began his 30-year business career at McKinsey & Co. in Germany.
CEO Barry MacLean cited Gilmore’s “ability to drive new business, develop talent and build strong teams” in his selection.
MacLean-Fogg Company manufactures and supplies engineered fasteners, transmission components and suspension devices to auto, truck and equipment producers worldwide and automatic connectors, composite insulators, distributor and transmission hardware and electrical products to utility markets.
