Germany’s Altenloh Brinck Acquires Trufast of Ohio

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. of Germany acquired an equity interest in a North American manufacturer and distributor, Trufast Corporation.
Altenloh CEO Nikolas Dicke explained Trufast provides “established distribution channels for the Spax branded construction fastener line, new North American markets, as well as production capabilities.” The first Spax brand universal screws were introduced in 1966 in Germany.
Brian Roth remains Trufast CEO and the existing management team will lead an expansion of production and engineering capabilities at Trufast”s Bryan, OH, headquarters.
Founded in 1981, Trufast manufactures and distributes commercial roofing and metal construction fastening systems and accessories in North America. Trufast reported 2004 sales of $28 million.
