Free Admission Offered for Orlando Show
John Wolz
Attendees can get free admission to exhibits at the National Industrial Fastener Show/East. Show management announced it is providing each exhibiting company with 10 complimentary exhibit hall passes to give to customers and prospects.
The show will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2004, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. A pre-show party is slated for Thursday evening.
Show management has offered free or reduced rate admission for its East show three times in recent years.
The Fastener Fundamentals workshop, taught by Jim Speck of Johnson Gage, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. The course is limited to 20 students.
Show promoters Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire are predicting more exhibitors and attendees for the second year the show has been in Orlando. A trade show is like anything else. It takes at least a year for some people to adjust and buy into a new location, the show owners reasoned. Besides, the improving economy and a promising first quarter in 2004 are all positive factors.
