General Motors issued recalls for 2014 Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Impala vehicles related to a fastener issue, GM Authority reports.

“Improperly torqued fasteners may cause the steering intermediate shaft and the steering gear and/or the lower control arm and the lower ball joint to separate,” resulting in a potential loss of steering, according to GM.

The recalls affect a total of 106 cars, all of which were “produced at GM’s Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant, so the problem likely stems from a manufacturing error.”

Dealers will inspect the fasteners and correct the torque if needed.

GM has so far recalled 29 million cars this year.
