Fastenal named Advance Components 2007 Supplier of the Year. The award, voted by Fastenal stores, goes to the top performer in each of the 10 supplier scorecard categories. The Fastenal supplier scorecard averages various functions each supplier performs, including daily sales growth, inventory turns, program involvement, product development and sales events.
“Our participation in the preferred Fastenal supplier program has been key to a substantial increase in sales,” general manager Gary Cravens commented. “We are now actively developing strategies to maintain this growth process and are excited about our partnership with a fast growing company like Fastenal.”
