Engineer Sharp to Speak on Twin Towers Fasteners at MFDA April 8

David Sharp will speak on �Bolting in the World Trade Center� at the April 8, 2003, Metropolitan Fastener Distributors Association dinner meeting.
The presentation will include photographs taken during steel salvage operations to illustrate how fasteners and the connections responded to the forces of shear, tensile loading, prying forces, elevated temperatures and impact.
Sharp is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York and a WTC study team on fasteners.
The MFDA dinner meeting will be at the Chart House Restaurant in Weekauken, NJ.
