Endries International purchased Interstate � Fastener Division, formerly Schlafer Supply Inc, from Interstate Welding Sales Corp., Endries marketing manager Jane Reif announced. Interstate � Fastener was formed in 1997 when Marinette, WI-based Interstate Welding acquired Schlafer, a century-old distributor of screws, nuts, bolts, and class C items. Interstate- Fastener has over 30 employees.
Interstate Welding, formed in 1946, is a private distributor of industrial and commercial gases, fire protection, tools, abrasives, welding equipment and safety supplies with nine branches in Wisconsin and Michigan.
