Economist Andersen is NFDA’s Fastener Week 2005 Keynote Speaker

Economic forecaster Peter Andersen will be the National Fastener Distributors Association keynote speaker during Fastener Week 2005.
Andersen is an independent consulting economist. After receiving a doctorate in economics from Harvard University, Andersen joined the Bank of Canada research staff and then joined the consulting firm, Woods Gordon as a partner, which later became Ernst & Young. He founded Andersen Economic Research Ltd. Andersen also teaches economics at the University of Texas.
The NFDA keynote program is part of the June 6-9, 2005, Fastener Week in Chicago. Fastener Week includes Industrial Fastening and Forming International, a manufacturing-oriented trade show sponsored by the International Fastener Machinery Association and Industrial Fasteners Institute, and the distribution-oriented Chicago Fastener Expo, sponsored by the Mid-West Fastener Association (formerly CBNSA).
