Solon Manufacturing Company promoted J. Timothy Dunn to president; George Davet to vice president/secretary; and Perry Blossom to vice president/treasurer.
Dunn succeeds David Carpenter, who has been with Solon since 1960. Carpenter was instrumental in developing Solon’s pressure switch product line and will remain chairman.
Dunn began his Solon career in 1978 in manufacturing and production. He quickly rose to Industrial Controls division manager and in 1992 Dunn was promoted to vice president.
Davet, a mechanical engineer, has been with Solon since 1993 and most recently as chief engineer for the industrial control and Belleville springs divisions. Davet oversees application design and product development for all of Solon. He has written and published articles and conducted seminars on Belleville Springs applications.
Blossom joined Solon in 1993 and has been corporate treasurer and manger of the Belleville Springs division. Blossom will continue to oversee Belleville financials, manufacturing, production and sales.
