Doncasters Eyes Middle East Market

Doncasters Group Ltd. will exhibit at the November 11-15 Dubai Air Show for the first time. CEO Eric Lewis said his company is “excited by the opportunities that exist in the Middle East market.”
“Dubai International Capital, which acquired Doncasters in May 2006, has brought the ability to identify compelling acquisitions to the group, which resulted in the $492m acquisition of North American based manufacturer of fasteners and precision components FastenTech Inc. in May this year,” Lewis explained. “This acquisition, combined with the recent divestment of Doncasters’ Medical Technologies, has created a fitter, more tightly focused organization.”
Lewis said Doncasters has seen its market share grow in recent years, giving the company more capacity to operate globally.
Doncasters employs 6,500 people across the UK, Europe, U.S., Mexico and China. Core manufacturing capabilities include superalloy production, precision casting (equiaxed, directionally solidified and single crystal); precision forging and ring rolling; a wide range of specialist fabrication, machining and finishing processes.
