Imagine working for GE Supply Logistics, a fast-growing National Fastener Distributor, which seeks motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Professionals in various locations including Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago. Attitude and aptitude will enable the successful candidate to handle Customer complaints, direct Root Cause Analysis efforts, and lead Internal Quality Audits for one of the world’s most admired companies. Responsibilities include: execute key Customer Service projects to reduce defects and cycle time and improve fulfillment; lead and prepare sound responses to all assigned Internal and Supplier Corrective Actions; administer the established Quality Management System to ensure full compliance to Internal and Customer Quality requirements; lead, motivate, direct and train personnel in various Quality processes; lead Internal Quality Audits. Qualifications include: minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment responsible for the quality aspects of the business; BS Technical degree or equivalent experience; demonstrated team and empowerment skills; process thinker and change advocate; previous Quality Systems experience; demonstrated knowledge of ISO9000/AS9100; demonstrated knowledge of 8D Corrective Action processes; ability to read and understand product specifications and prints; proven interpersonal, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
