Computer Insights Promotes DeFalco

Computer Insights Inc. promoted Paul DeFalco to supply chain integration manager, CEO Dennis Cowhey announced.
DeFalco will be in charge of CI’s “alphabet” projects: BBC (Brighton-Best Connection), VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), API (Application Programming Interface), UPS Integration, CCI (Credit Card Integration), B2B (eCommerce Interfaces), FCH (FastenersClearingHouse.com) and EDI (Electronic Data Interexchange). He will direct the further development of each of these extended capabilities of The BUSINESS EDGE 2.0.”
As the owner of a carpenter contracting business in 1988, DeFalco became interested in Autocad. He later got out of the construction business to create a document management application to store drawings and specs for fastener distributors. He is Microsoft certified in VB.
DeFalco has been programming in CI’s Business Edge 2.0 for seven years and wrote the programs for Datamax and Zebra printers allowing Business Edge 2.0 to communicate with native languages. He also developed the VMI program for palm scanners and a program for iPhones, iPads, iPods and Android devices.
