The Bossard Group of Zug, Switzerland, acquired Milwaukee-based Larson & Co. Inc., Peter Vogel of Bossard USA announced. Larson distributes fasteners to OEMs in the Midwest and Southeast.\
Larson was a family-owned company with five U.S. branches. Founded 25 years ago, Larson has 75 employees and sales of approximately $30 million.
Vogel said Larson has established itself as one of the leading fastener distributors in the engine and lawn & garden business.
Larson will continue to be operated by the same management team led by John Larson.
Vogel said Larson will gain Bossard�s engineering and global logistics abilities and Bossard benefits from Larson�s customer base in the USA and Mexico.
This acquisition is another important step for the Bossard Group in its policy of being a player in the ongoing consolidation process in the USA, Vogel said.
