ASTM Unveils Online Steel Database

ASTM International unveiled an online steel database for information on more than 20,000 alloys and standards.
ASTM”s new “Passport to Steel” database covers standards development organizations around the world and was developed in partnership with CASTI Publishing Inc.
Passport to Steel incorporates steel data from ASTM, Association Fran�aise de Normalisation, American Petroleum Institute, SAE International, Deutsches Institut f�r Normung, British Standards Institution, Canadian Standards Association, European Committee for Standardization, Japanese Standards Association, and the International Organization for Standardization.
Passport to Steel”s options include user search by standards organizations, specifications, standard designation, grade, class, type, symbol, steel name or number, product form, alloy group, chemical composition, ranges and mechanical properties.
The database includes conversion and periodic tables and metal terms in English, Spanish, German and French.
Annual subscriptions start at $995.
