Below is a summary of fastener industry acquisitions during the opening quarter of 2016 by way of FIN headlines so far this year.

 

Fastener acquisition analyst Richard Hagan of Pinnacle Capital Corp. will issue his Top Ten Fastener Acquisitions of 2015 in the coming weeks. For 2014 he chronicled 41 major fastener company acquisitions worldwide.

Würth Acquires House of Threads
Company is now part of the Indianapolis, IN-based Industry Division as a member company of Würth Industry of North America (WINA).

Novaria Group Acquires ESNA from MacLean-Fogg
Novaria expands ESNA brand to include complementary aerospace and defense fastener products; North Texas facility re-named ESNA.

Novaria Group Acquires Ferco Aerospace
Novaria Group includes Novaria Fastening Systems, which is comprised of Sky Aerospace Products and John Hassall Inc.

Southco Acquires CounterBalance Corp.

Hatebur Buys Carlo Salvi

OSG serves the fastener industry by offering thread-rolling, flat, cylindrical, planetary and trim dies.

Lawson Products Acquires Perfect Products Co.
Perfect Products serves automotive repair shops, body shops and industrial clients “from Grand Rapids and Detroit, Michigan to Toledo, Ohio.”

Hi-Tech Fasteners Acquires Wesco Aircraft Canada
Hi-Tech added its Canadian division in September 2013 when it opened Hi-Tech Fasteners of Canada in Toronto.

Sherex Fastening Solutions Acquires Disc-Lock
Combined company offers “broader range of technologies and fastening solutions, increased applications and sales coverage, and potential supply chain consolidation,” Sherex president Adam Pratt stated.

MW Industries Acquires USA Fastener Group
Founded in 2002, USAFG manufactures various fasteners, including studs, nuts and other precision machined parts.

EFC Int’l Acquires Technology Components Southwest
Technology Components Southwest was formed in 2004 after acquiring the sales and distribution rights for Rivetnut Products in the Southwest region and Mexico border.

Keller & Kalmbach Acquires Infinity Fasteners
Infinity Fasteners has 35 employees at four locations, serving manufacturers of cooling towers for power plants and cooling systems.
