Accurate Man. Products Expands U.S. Made 303 and 316 Fastener Line
After many years of manufacturing non standard sizes on a special order basis for our distributors, Accurate decided to invest in a large line of hard to find sizes on the shelf. In addition to the Type 303 and 316 Stainless products, Monel and Titanium were added to this program.
Accurate is a stocking manufacturer of specialty fastening solutions sold through Distributors. AMPG made the decision to add large and in between sizes to their shoulder screw product line and expand the range of exotic materials. “There was great demand for a high quality domestic product, extensive selection of sizes, that were available quickly.” said Alex Goldberg, Product manager. “Our complete line of Metric sizes to ISO Specifications has already sold out of many items through our distribution network”.
Shoulder Screws (also known as Shoulder Bolts or Stripper Bolts) function as a bearing surface, pin, slide or as a spacer. Used in many applications, they can be locators, axles, pivot points and retainers. By definition this item is a screw with an unthreaded cylindrical section, or shoulder, between threads and screw head; the shoulder is larger in diameter than the threaded section and provides an axis around which close-fitting moving parts operate.
All of our shoulder screws are manufactured in our modern CNC Machine Shop centrally located in Indianapolis, with strict quality control. Our Shoulder Screws have the following features:
All heads are knurled.
All parts are head identified with the our symbol of quality “AMPG” head marking.
AMPG303 for 303 Stainless, AMPG316 for 316 Stainless, AMPG405 for Type 405 Monel, and AMPGTi2 for the Titanium product line.
