Jeanette Abraham is the new president of Detroit Heading Company upon acquiring a 51% ownership interest previously held by the late Thomas Sims in the joint venture between Textron Fastening Systems and DHC.\
Abraham most recently was in charge of fastener procurement for General Motors. In her 32-years with GM, Abraham helped develop minority suppliers for the automotive industry.
Chuck O�Brien, president of Textron Fastening�s automotive business, said Abraham “has served as an important mentor” during the development of DHC.
The steel fastener supplier and Textron Fastening Systems began operating in a new automotive fastener manufacturing and distribution facility earlier this month. The facility is located at Detroit’s Lynch Road Renaissance subzone.
