The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) recently announced accreditations for testing fasteners:
“Borstlap B.V. of Tilburg, Netherlands, was accredited in physical testing and chemical analysis.
“Commercial Steel Treating Corp. of Madison Heights, MI, was accredited in physical testing and metallographic evaluation.
“General Fasteners Co. of Livonia, MI, was accredited in physical testing, metallographic evaluation, dimensional testing and chemical analysis.
“Gerdau Ameristeel Perth Amboy of Amboy, NJ, was accredited in chemical analysis.
“Indiana Automotive Fasteners of Greenfield, IN, was accredited in physical testing, dimensional testing and chemical analysis.
“Lewis Bolt & Nut Co. Fastener Lab of La Junta, CO, was accredited in physical testing and metallographic evaluation.
“Porteous Fastener Co. of Carson, CA, was accredited in physical and dimensional testing.
“Staveley Services Materials Testing of Glendale Heights, IL, was accredited in physical testing, metallographic evaluation and chemical analysis.
“Stork MMA Laboratories of Newtown, PA, was accredited in physical testing, chemical analysis, metallographic evaluation and dimensional testing.
“Telefast Industries Inc. of Berea, OH, was accredited in physical testing, metallographic evaluation and dimensional testing.
“Textron Fastening Systems of Sterling Heights, MI, was accredited in physical testing, metallographic evaluation and chemical analysis.
“Textron Fastening Systems, Holly Distribution Center of Holly, MI, was accredited in physical testing and dimensional testing.
“TSP/USB Laboratory of Houston, TX, was accredited in physical testing, metallographic evaluation, chemical analysis and dimensional testing.
” Xiamen Boltun Metal Co. Ltd. Testing Laboratory of Xiamen, China, was accredited in mechanical testing.
