Fastener Training Week Added for West Coast
The Fastener Training Institute will offer all-n-one-week version of its Certified Fastener Specialist training February 27-March 2, 2012, in Southern California.
A Midwest-based Fastener Training Week has been held in Ohio and will again be in Cleveland, July 23-27, 2012, at the Industrial Fasteners Institute training center.
The week is co-sponsored by FTI and the IFI.
The Los Angeles-area training week will include everything from the regular seven-course CFS training, but in consecutive days.
The week includes learning labs taught by industry experts Joe Greenslade, IFI director of engineering technology; Carmen Vertullo, Carver Engineering; and Salim Brahimi, IBECA Technologies. There will be manufacturing, secondary processes and testing facility tours.
Attendees passing the final exam will be eligible for the CFS designation.
