Big Bolt is proud to announce the purchase of the assets of Erwin Screw & Bolt Co. of Chicago, IL on January 1st 2010.

Erwin Screw had approximately 5 million pounds of inventory in their 50,000 sq foot distribution facility. Big Bolt has moved this inventory to our 130,000 sq foot manufacturing and stocking distribution warehouse in Bloomingdale, IL.
 

Erwin Screw is known throughout the industry for its extensive inventory of two products: 

Full stock of grades 2, 5 & 8 Tap Bolts (full threaded bolts) in both fine and coarse thread.
Range: ¼” – 20 x 1” to 12” through 1 ¼” – 7 x 3” to 20”
Full stock of non-standard (split-length) Hex C/S in grades 2, 5 & 8.

Big Bolt is the largest fastener machine shop in the United States, and has 120 employees operating out of a 130,000 sq foot stocking/manufacturing facility 24 hrs a day, 5 days a week.
 

Big Bolt has an extensive inventory of material in all grades:

¼” x 30” to 3 ¾” x 40”
M6 x 760 to M72 x 760

Big Bolt specializes in providing the following five services:

Overnight manufacturing of almost any fastener in any material.
Extensive inventory of blanks in all grades of Hex C/S, Carriage, Square, Socket, etc.
Full line of grade 2, 5 & 8 Tap Bolts.
Full line of non-standard length Hex C/S.
