1990 FIN – Delta Secondary Opens in Bensenville
January 15, 1990 FIN – Delta Secondary Inc. is a new company established to perform various secondary finishing operations on fastener products.
The suburban Chicago Delta is owned by partners Alina Agresto and Jim Battis.
Battis previously owned and operated a secondary shop for 12 years.
Agresto has 16 years of manufacturing, purchasing and sales experience in the fastener industry – most recently with J. Hammer & Associates.

1992 FIN � Delta Secondary Doubling Space
March 30, 1992 FIN – Delta Secondary, Inc., Bensonville, Illinois, tells FIN that it s near completion of a facility expansion which will double its manufacturing space and increase its service capabilities to fastener manufacturers and distributors in the greater Chicago area and nationwide.
Delta Secondary offers standard and custom services, including work on “hard to find” items, for cut-off and chamfer, cut threading, head slotting, head height modification, grooving, shoulders, and special points.
The expansion will allow Delta to increase services in the area of cross-drilling, through hole body drilling, drilling and tapping, and nut re-tapping.
Delta also tells FIN that Joanne Palombi, formerly of E.K. Fasteners, Inc., has joined their inside sales/customer service staff.
