Sterling & Fabory Form Joint Venture
Sterling Tools and Fabory – the Borstlap Masters in Fasteners Group B.V. – have formed a joint venture to distribute Fabory products in South Asia.
Sterling and Fabory will hold a 50% stake in the JV. The JV will be incorporated during 2010 Q1 and use Sterling Fabory as brand name.
The JV will operate from a Greenfield facility in Faridabad, an industrial center 25 km from Delhi, India.
Fabory is a global distributor, technical services provider and supply chain and vendor management provider of fasteners, tools and industrial supplies. Fabory has more than 110 branches in 16 countries and 2008 revenues of EUR 270 million (US$392m).
