Southwestern Fastener Association president Mary Chambers announced John Elsner is the new executive director. Elsner succeeds interim director Kathy Malkemes.\
Elsner has been president of the Greater Houston Hotel & Motel Association, vice president of Event Activities of the Houston Sports Association, the managing agent for the Houston Astrodome, and executive director of the Tulsa State Fair.
